The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Houston Rockets 119-93 on Monday night, making them instantly the hottest team in the NBA. On that note, accusations of band-wagonry began flying back and forth on social media.
One poor Grizzlies fan tried it with a celebrity, and his Twitter mentions have never been the same.
Justin Timberlake does not take this stuff lightly. After tweeting the word “Grizzlies,” a fan reposted his tweet with “bandwagon” attached. Timberlake took the opportunity to smash down his almighty hammer of swift and merciless justice.

Let this be a warning to all who would test a celebrity on social media: within 10 minutes of the guy’s tweet, Justin responded: “Uh… I’m from Memphis and I’m an owner. Anyone else? #WigSnatch.”
“@JamesStendebach: "@jtimberlake: Grizzlies."
Bandwagon.”
